    Hi guiydo, thanks for the reply. I have been to see the physio and this sounds similar to what they have suggested - they thought I would need to do stretches and then slowly build up with some strengthening excercises. She said she can feel thickening of the calf muscle where it was originally hurt and thinks that the calf raises might have caused the pain in both outer calves.     Hi billclinton854, It seems like you may have lesioned your muscles. It may have been muscle tears that may have not healed properly. A proper, progressive muscle strengthening program may help you with your problem although a great amount of time is passed since the beginning. Generally a muscle program starts of with isometric contractions, then concentric contractions followed by eccentric contractions. Finally plyometrics and core stability may be added.     Hi Kazordon, I don't think it is a problem of muscles to strengthen. As the hip exercises didn't work, it would be an option to work on your low back and see if specific movements make it better or worse . If so, then a specific posture and exercise program can be applied otherwise the problem should be searched somewhere else

    Hi Gayan, You're most welcome 😊. Sure, we can work on your back problem later.. msg me when the knee gets better. I'd like to add just one thing, do not discontinue the first 2 exercises, add the new ones with them and perform all 4 exercises for the knees. You too take care and stay safe ☺
