Hi, I am a Physiotherapist in Turkey. I would like to work as a Physiotherapist in Ireland but as I see, the process will take a long time. So, not to be out of this profession, I would like to work as a Physiotherapy assistant in Ireland, and also to experience the system of healthcare in Ireland till I have been recognized. I checked iscp but I found informations only for Physiotherapists, not assistants. If you know anything, would you guide me?

Hi, are you HCPC registered as a physio in the UK? Although I cannot determine this with 100% certainty, I am pretty confident in saying that in order to register as a physiotherapist in NZ, you need to have a Bachelor in Physiotherapy. Your overseas education needs to qualify you as a physiotherapist in your 'own' country. Registration in NZ is under a 'general scope', which requires you to demonstrate competencies in MSK, cardio-resp and neuro in theory and practice. Check the...

Hi Guys, I'm a little lost here and I'm hoping somebody on this site can help me! I'm a qualified Sports Therapist in the UK (different to a Physiotherapist as I am only MSK trained) and wanting to know if anyone thinks I will be eligible to apply for Physiotherapy registration in NZ? I know I can apply to be a massage therapist in NZ as I have a separate Sports Massage qualification but I was hoping to be able to be registered as what degree enables me to do here in the UK. Any help...

I can give you some more recommendations when it comes to old age issues, my mom had an accident, she was unable to move, i know it was bit risky at the age of 65 , after searching a lot , found physiotherapist in Singapore , who really cared my mom in excellent manner, and she recovered quickly .Now i can say that THEY are one of the best in Singapore, but still i would say that make your inquiry properly . best part is , they give lesser medicine as they know it is really tough for old age...

By flexing just my left ring finger (no effect from other digits) my bicep will sink down towards my triceps, an when Done with my arm relaxed by my side it will move my forearm forwards slightly. Doesnít occur with index, middle or pinky fingers, or if I use all my fingers at once. I went to the doctor an they said it was probably a muscle cramp, itís been several months an it still hasnít changed. I have no pain an no recollection of injuring my arm, Iíve tried ulnar nerve flossing...

Back in January I woke up with pain behind my knee on the inside. After a week I began to get a similar pain in the exact same place but on my other leg, just nowhere near as severe. After 2 weeks of it not improving I went to see my GP who suggested that it may be a hamstring tendon sprain and referred me to physio. The physio agreed that it was likely to be a hamstring tendon injury and set me some exercises (squats, hamstring stretch and hamstring curl). She suggested that the issue could be...
