Hi guys, I am now doing some research on postural drainage for my assignment but have some difficulties at the moment so I wonder if anyone here could offer me some help. I know there're many contraindications for head-down position, but I don't really understand the reasons behind some of them. I don't understand why patients suffering from severe haemoptysis, cerebral oedema or aortic aneurysm are not suitable for head-down position.
