this is typical of RSD im afraid. are you taking the gabapentin?
yes im taking the gabapentin, what do you mean by its typical of RSD?
the patients that i see with this condition often appear to be improving at one session and then back to square one again at the next. mmost of them demonstrate a very slow gradual recovery towards normal again.
on a lighter note i like the fly thing next to your name. how did you get that??
i got the fly from some avatar site..and just downloaded it to my pics then stuck it here..
how long does it take your patients to start to return to normal? i know everyone is different but its it months or years?
im currently treating 3 patients with RSD in there arm and wrists. they are about 1 year following onset. 2 of them are almost normal again. the 3rd is about 1/2 way there.
my left arm has been virtually non existent for the last 2 days ive really struggled to move it, this happened about 3 years ago but within 6 weeks it was about normal again...i dont know whether this is part of the deal or not
sounds strange. when you say non existent what do you mean?
nice cat. how do i get a picture next to my name?
done it. football will do for now!
i'd just typed it all out too, ah well..
by non existent i mean it feels like it doesnt belong to me apart from the pain
sorry that u typed for nothing.
do you now have a problem with your arm and leg? are they both on the same side.
could the arm thing be due to using the crutches?
you must be well fed up!
i havent used for crutches since friday as my balance has just gone mad, yes its all the same side (Left) but all this with the left arm and balance happened bout 3 years ago too, so i wouldnt say its down to the crutches.
yes im really fed up 29 weeks and still got nowhere, i like your pic cute but scary
have you had any investigations over the last 3 years for this problem then. sounds strange. has it happened repeatedly over the last 3 years?
like your pic too. yours isnt scary though!
im now a CPD legend. sounds impressive!
yes you will have toput it on your cv about being a cpd legend.
when it happened 3 years ago id lost all movment and they thought id had a stroke but a ct scan ruled this out... and then it happened again a couple days back
my pics a cute supercat
could it be stress related? were you under undue stress 3 years ago when it lst happened?
yeah ive just updated my CV. start looking for a top job now then!!!
i think mines some sort of cute baby monkey or chimp
no i werent under any stress 3 years ago life was going to plan, but now it could be stress related but definitly not 3 years ago..
u should come and get a job and be my physio im sick of seeing different ones,
yeah any good jobs? i didnt think that you would be recommending your trust after the way they have treated you. also not sure if i would want to work in a group of physios that pass on patients that they give up on.
have u got a physio appt yet
anyway i kinda feel like i am your physio now!!!!!!!!
yer 9th oct, ive decided to start treatment week starting the 8th as my mum is dragging me away next week
you've stuck with me longer than any of the real ones
cyber physio. whod have thought that then?
good on your mum. sounds like you need a break. going anywhere nice?
are we running out of pages now. it says last page now. youd better hurry up and get better. ha ha
Well it saves getting up and going to work just switch on your pc,
no only going to butlins at skeg with the kids its meant to be some kinda consolation prize as i was meant to be going to cyprus for 2 weeks next month..
it dont say on this end last page, it IS a joke about hurrying up and getting better
i think ive just worked out the last page bit now. i was just being thick!
skegness/cyprus- no competition!!!
have fun.
wheres the cat gone?
the cats tired from being like that all day..i want a cool spongebob one
i will have fun, whats better than being in a wheelchair when u dont trust anyone to push you???
u cant be thick if you're going to be a cyber physio, i dont have to get better now then do i? if theres still pages left
i think we will get the record for most posts at this rate.
take time out to relax and get away from it all on holiday.might do you the world of good.ill do some more cyber physio on you when you get back!!!
being occasionally thick could be some sort of special power that i havebeing a cyber physio. do you think that this is allowed?
do u think we will get a prize for it?
yes im sure you can get away with being thick once in a while whilst doing your cyber physio job. although im not sure about it being a special power
prize sounds good.
the cats back!!
being thick probably isnt a requirement for reregistration with the HPC and so i will have to try and find something else.
a cat a a chick much cuter..
but being thinck could be your special skill
OK, guys good chatting but you have taken this to a place where no one else is likely to continue adding posts. I would suggest you continue either via setting up your own blog (Look in the UserCP and click on Blog at the bottom of the list). This is you own unique blog area and is ideal for this type of discussion. If you want it more private you can also use private messaging. :)
