Starting Private Practice in New Zealand
I am looking into starting my own private musculoskeletal clinic in NZ. Are there any New Zealanders who could give me some info on start up costs, any particular hurdles you know of within the New Zealand system and if you feel it is worth while.

Hi monzmo. I've been running my physio clinic in New Zealand for 5 years now.
I would probably say - get some business/marketing training.
I understand this thread is very old so if my message will be of no use to you - I hope it may help someone else who may read it.
Most of us physios... well, lack business skills and hence make lots of mistakes and struggle to earn a good living. I have a business coach who I have dealt with over the years and it certainly helped me immensely (he is reasonably priced too). There are proven marketing strategies that will make things happen for your business. Let me know if you want me to share his contact details.
