Advice for surgery

I have posted before about a condition my right ankle following an inversion sprain on 29 July 2007 kicking a football. I had ligament surgery (Broestrom + medial ligament) on 15 September 2008 which aggravated my condition to the point where I was unable to walk.

After losing patience, I versed myself on conditions of the ankle and ankle anatomy and diagnosed myself with an anteromedial meniscoid lesion. This was confirmed at arthroscopy on 11 December 2008 by a surgeon in Sydney (1000km away). The "size of a finger" he told me as I recovered from the GA.

I consider this condition cured on the medial area of my ankle, but I still have major tissue impingement in the lateral and anterior area of my ankle (mostly lateral). I expect the doctor is going to be like all others in the past 17 months and under-estimate the severity of my ongoing condition. I have lost all trust in the medical establishment given the invariable displays of gross incompetence and misdiagnosis.

Given this, it is likely (pending outcome of next appointment with surgeon) that I will be looking for someone to perform surgery - an (aggressive) arthroscopic debridement of the lateral (between malleolus and talus) and anterior areas of my right ankle. I will pay. I will travel to any country. If this fails, I will do it myself and I will be seeking advice, equipment, etc for doing so (unnegotiable).
