Hi all,
Does anyone know if the job oppurtunities are still as good in New Zealand as they were a few years ago. I know physiotherapy remains on the long term skills shortage list, but why I ask this is because every second physiotherapist I talk to seems to be planning on going to NZ. I have NZ physio registration, but am not planning on going for another year or so, as I want to get further experience at home seeing as how I'm newly qualified. With worsening economies in Britain and Ireland, many physios are deciding to head to NZ, the will be an even greater influx into NZ, and I'm wondering if there will still be work for everyone?
Is it mostly private/musculoskeletal sectors where the jobs are "supposedly" plentiful, or also the hospital setting?
Thanks for the help.
