Prospective student

Hi everyone,

im working towards doing a physio degree, then working in a hospital in the UK and was wondering if anyone here works on rotation in a hospital and could help me.

I hear that you work on rotation, and one of the departments is working in the community, how exactly does this work? Would it be imperative that you have a car/ be able to drive?

Also how does it work with the weekend on call bit? Do you actually go into work and wait around in case your needed? Or wait at home? How often do you do this?
