Prioritisation
Hi guys,
I am a newly qualified physiotherapist with a few interviews coming up. Unfortunately I haven't got quite as much CVR experience from my course as I would like.
I was just wondering if there are any basic rules for prioritisation. For example if I had someone with an exacerbation of COPD and another with aspiration pneumonia?
Any hints would be much appreciated.

Re: Prioritisation
Hi Richie,
I think the main thing is always go for the thing that seems most urgent i.e.
2. COPD patient for review
1. aspiration pneumonia
3. Walking aid provision/ training
If your having difficulty think of the consequences of not seeming them quickly...I'm sure you'll be great this is the sort of stuff you've practiced in other areas. And it can be good to talk it through with your interviewers - showing your justification can be a good way of demonstrating your clinical reasoning skills :)
Hope this was useful :)
Good luck with the interviews!
