Damage orbicularis oculi facial muscle

Hi

One year ago I received I heavy smack to the side of my head right beside my left eye. It was from a woman who was wearing a ring and since then my left eye muscle has sgged to the left and is visibly weaker than the right eye muscle. I've tried tapping the muscle gently to stimulate blood circulation and I've tried some light exercises but there is no real improvement. If I squeeze my eye shut I feel a pain 2 cm to the left of my eye where I believe the ring impacted on my face. It has been difficult to form facial expressions since it happened and I dont know how to fix the muscle. Is there any treatment you would recommend?
