Hi,
Now I have no understanding of medical terms at all above the level of a first aid course, so I'm going to type this all in plain English, and if anyone does reply then please do explain what you mean otherwise I'll end up totally lost!
About a month ago I noticed some stiffness in my right ankle after running. I've had running shoes fitted at a sports shop which are well broken in and I wasn't doing anything that exerted me more often that normal. I think the problem may have been brought on by thinking that going running in the snow would be a good idea.
The pain goes from just above my ankle, on the outside of my leg, about an inch up along a bone I can feel. There isn't, and hasn't been, any swelling or visable damage, and it calms down after a few days rest but won't totally go away. The pain is most noticable when walking/moving about. I can feel it if I rotate my foot too, especially to the left or pointing up.
I'm in my early 20s and am in good health etc and haven't had any medical problems before.
Happy to try and explain/expand on anything I've said that isn't totally clear. Any opinions/advice/etc much apprecitated.
