problem with possible patellar adhesion/poor glide after ACL reconstruction

Hi all.

i have a 24 y/o female non-athletic patient who's already 6 mos. post-ACL reconstruction with hamstring tendon graft on left knee. she claims that her left knee cap "feels stuck" while walking and seems to be higher than the other.

upon palpation (with her knee extended, while resting), there seems to be adequate movement of her patella, but when she flexes her knee, her patella does seem to get stuck superiorly; it doesn't glide inferiorly.

knee ROM is nearly full, but still with 5deg extension lag, and with pain at end of ROM especially with overpressure. MMT is 3+/5, just started weaning her off the brace.

any tips/treatment suggestions on improving her patellar glide?
