Please help! How long should a personal statement for a job be?

How long should the additional information section on an NHS job application be? I think I was told 1 side of A4 but I'm not sure.

Yes I would say about one A4 page typed should be fine. I would not write too much - you have to think that they want to get a quick view on you as a person.
They don't want to read an essay ;)
