wondering if anyone can help clear up some confusion on contraindications when providing rehab following hip hemiarthroplasty and dynamic hip screw to treat fragility fractures.
Following hemiarthroplasty (using anterolateral approach) is crossing the legs contraindicated? are there any ROM restrictions? Also, with a dynamic hip screw would straight leg raising exercises cause undue stress/damage to the bone surrounding the implant?
