Space for Trampoline Spotters during Rebound Therapy
I am a physiotherapist working with adults who have a learning disability and running rebound therapy sessions on a full size trampoline. We are considering relocating the trampoline from a large spacious hall to a much smaller treatment room within our assessment and treatment unit. I am looking for guidance about the minimum space required around the trampoline for spotters to work safely. There is not enough space to use our deck ends and one wall has several windows at the same height as the trampoline bed. Ceiling height is not an issue.
Re: Space for Trampoline Spotters during Rebound Therapy
Hi Sharon,
The National Rebound Therapy Consultancy provide recommendations as to how and where trampolines should be sited.
If you have completed a genuine Rebound Therapy training course, have a look through your course information material. You will also find there a very good paper written by the CSP which gives clear, sensible advice.
If you don't have this information to hand, contact Rebound Therapy dot Org and we will be pleased to provide you with the information.
