hip problem
lately i have been having problems with my hips/pelvic girdle. i tried sprinting the other day (as part of interval training) and suddenly my pelvis felt looser than normal. i continued running and it felt worse forcing me to stop. I have tried lying down and doing pelvic floor contractions and transverse abdominal strengthening which helps, but standing get me back to where i started.
most of the pain is gone, however i still feel a awkward pain from just underneath my buttocks following into the front of my pelvis ( between hips and knee, a little bit of referred pain about 1/4 going down my leg).
please help! im scared that it might be displaced near the pubic symphisis which my doc said it wasnt ( a little skeptical).
thanks

Re: hip problem
If your unhappy with what the doc said go and get a second opinion from a physiotherapist and get assessed properly, GP's arent that great at musculoskeletal stuff so you should see someone who is.
BTW I like the name. :)

Re: hip problem
lol thanks,
no money to go to physio, otherwise i wouldnt post here:(. i have experience with rehab exercises, self diagnosis, etc and usually only consult for second opinion, but this one is really bothersome. if i can get tips on what to look for or perhaps some other exercises i can try to alleviate pain please post...
