What are the kind of works that PT assistants do??/

To all PT assistants....kindly let know what the are kinds of work that a PT assistant get to do when working in a hospital/clinic/organisation setup......:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I believe that depends on what other staff the place has got...., otherwise there is:
- answering the phone
- assist in reception
- tidy up, do the linen run
- make appointments
- do photocopy jobs
- sort out equipment store
- do stock take and re-order
- filing
- supervise gym programmes
- supervise Hydrotherapy pool
- perform pre-set up exercise programmes (by the Physio) with patients
- assist with group sessions/ rehabilitation programmes
- assist Physios with clients who need a second pair of hands
- there is probably a million more things to do ....:)


We didn't have Physiotherapy Assistants in the end, just Therapy Assistants, who were available to Physios, OTs and SLTs.
