Broken Leg Help
I broke my leg in January was a Tibia Fibula compound fracture was in a immobilizer the first week then was put in a long leg cast that came all the way up above my knee for about 12 weeks did physical therapy after I was walking on crutches for about a week or so then when I started to walk I had a permanent limp. I eventually quit taking therapy and still have a slight limp and the limp is heightened when I walk barefoot. I have this problem where when I bend my left knee ,the one injured, it cracks like if you were popping your finger. It has been doing that for more than A month and I am worried about it. I am also nervous that I might just have a limp for the rest of my life:(
Need some help suggestions what should I do?

Re: Broken Leg Help
Hi there,
Are you unable to straighten your knee? or is your ankle the area that is resulting in your limp?
Please provide more details.

Re: Broken Leg Help
My ankle was the problem at first because I would walk with my foot out but It doesnt hurt anymore what hurts now is large amounts of pressure on my knee and I can straighten my knee but it makes this awful cracking sound when I do bend it
