Hamstring - please please help

hello i pulled my hamstring playing football about 7 weeks ago now , it was quite bad and i couldnt walk right for a week or two , after about four weeks i tried playing again and it set me back another week , im getting a bit of pain down at my knee and still getting twinges near where i pulled my hamstring .

i have been stretching a few times a day and have recived a few sessions of ultra sonic from my onsite physio , i only get 5 minutes a session though and dont feel its made any differnce.

i was wondering what i should be doing to help ??? it never brused or swelled up but was extreamly painfull , like i said its been about 7 weeks now and its getting to me .

i would recommend seeing a physiotherapist.

seven weeks for what seems like an innocuous enough hams tear is stretching it a bit. there may be more contributory factors.

go get it checked out!
