we have an average length of stay of around five days post op for both TKR and THR pts at fairfield hospital,

Roy, I work in a Post Acute Care Team (Western Sydney), assisting TKR/THR patients going home from hospital. I'd estimate that hospital length of stay for TKR's would average 5-7 days, and THR's would average 6-10 days - all depending on patient co-morbidities, surgeon's preferences etc.

Ormskirk Hospital, NW UK,: TKR 5-7 days, THR 7-10 days, rough guides, obviously depends on comorbidities etc.
Av. LOS at the royal united hospital in Bath U.K is 5-7 days for THR and 6-9 days for TKR. Hope this is of help.
