As I have the idea that myofascial teatment was developed by Dr. Ward of Michigan state university. Myofascial release treatment addresses pain and mechanical problems simultaneously using the balance barrier release concept. Myofascial release treatment uses manully applied loads to assess and treat the barriers and asymmetries. Treatment is completed when areas of restriction have been released and appropriate balance is achieved.
