Warning all members of the PT forum against copying or posting NPTE or PEAT material.

All materials on the Practice Exam and Assessment Tool (PEAT) and the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) are protected by copyright laws. It is illegal to copy or share any of these materials with any individuals or to post this material on a public website.

Recently, I posted a message on the IER forum regarding reproducible PEAT questions that were for sale. By doing this I violated the copyright laws of the FSBPT that are kept in place to protect the intellectual property of the Board and also ultimately protect the integrity of the NPTE.
There are serious consequences of violating copyright laws. Strict disciplinary action was taken against me for this action;

- I am suspended for 6 months from taking the NPTE
- I had to pay thousands of dollars as a fine
- I attended a course on ethics in NJ on my own expense
- I wrote an essay regarding the importance of ethics in Physical Therapy.
- In addition, any additional state boards to which I apply for licensure will have access to the disciplinary action taken against me.

This post is to caution all members and visitors of a forum that posting or sharing any information that does NOT originate from you is illegal and unethical. Beware of the education material you obtain from various sources as these may contain improperly copied PEAT questions or recalled NPTE questions.
Violating copyright material that belongs to the FSBPT results in heavy monetary fines, loss of time, and potential denial of licensure from states across the US.
