South African's can work in Oz without sitting an exam?

IS it true that South African's, Canadians and New Zealanders can still work in Oz without having to sit the Ozzie exams?? Why do the UK physios have to sit an exam, really??? Also is it tru that a UK physio can get auomatic registration in New Zeland, and then gain unexamined liscense into OZ via the lutual recognition process between the two countries??

I find this so interesting and cannot see how National Associations are really helping the healthcare and physio global crisis!
