I went for a free session at my place of work today. Was physio students being overseen by their tutors and they started off looking at posture and alignment of hips and shoulders and things.
I said I wanted my hips looking at as I wanted to be more suppply through them when riding.
I did some hip tests, lifting legs out and stuff to see what movement I had then they worked on my lower back and down over my pelvic bone and it was very sore. Then they worked with me on my side and did my hip flexors (?) and again that was sore, with the right hip being crunchy.
They then did down both legs and picked up some water retention and soreness through my right leg, ankle and foot (first thing I do when nervous on a horse is stiffen my right leg to the point I get numb toes and a very sore ankle and foot when I dismount).
Anyway, felt the usual groggyness and soreness this afternoon, but got home and found this:

All along the base of my back and hips is bruised! They did say it would bruise a bit, but is this normal?
