radius fracture

Hi- I fractured my radius approx. 8-9 yrs. ago and it never healed properly. The doctors re-aligned the fracture and placed some pins in my arm. Although I did regain a full range of motion, I was unable to continue my chosen sport of boxing as I could always feel the injury on impact.

Obviously, a great deal of time has passed and my thoughts are that the bone was never properly re-aligned. My question is whether it would be possible some 8-9 years on to fix this old injury and what that would involve assuming it might be possible.

Any answers or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
