Australian Degree, French Equivalent?
Hi,
Was wondering if anyone may be able to help me out. I am a dual citizen, Australian/French, currently studying at Curtin University Western Australia in the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Course. I was wondering what is the best way to get my degree accredited in France once I have completed, and what the likelihood of my course being accepted is? I was born, and grew up in Australia but have traveled many times to France, and speak often and am thus relatively fluent French and can hold conversations and perform treatments in French effectively, however my grammar is quite bad as I have never learnt French grammatically. Will an ability to speak fluent french be enough to be accepted into the system?
Thanks for your time and help, much appreciated.

Re: Australian Degree, French Equivalent?

Re: Australian Degree, French Equivalent?
dear garrett,
Be prepared for a culture shock.... the health system, the cultural differences, politics, the differences in social relationships and family life, the male-female thing, the works.....
I am Dutch, born there, grew up and went to school in Australia, and boy, when I went back to Holland did I have te adjust (a lot)
Europe is very different, yet so alike.......
But do not let that stop you....
Go out there and enjoy.....
more info on working in France can be found at Syndicats départementaux de Masseurs-Kinésithérapeutes regroupés au sein de la FFMKR - Accueil FFMKR
for more insight into the differences, there is documentation of the differences in the european countries
Welcome to the European Region of the World Confederation of Physiotherapy
Bon voyage....:D
