Broken Ankle Recovery

Hi,
I fell in the snow in Jan this year and dislocated my ankle, broke it and spiral fracture of the fibula. I had to have an operation and now have it plated and pinned. I spent 6 wks in cast non weight bearing. I am still struggling with the ankle its very stiff and sore I am walking without crutches but have a bad limp. I am having physio which helps but I am wondering how long it does take for stiffness to come good it has been 3 mths since I came out of the cast.
I have some exercises to do at home which include stretching and trying to push the joint to bend. Anyone have any other ideas on what I can do to help reduce the stiffness?? I am getting so fed up with it now and jsut want to be able to get on with my life

Hello, just wondering if you ever had a decent resolution to your ankle problem. I know it's been a while, so I sure hope so! I find myself in much the same place and can't get motion back in my ankle. Just wondered what you ended up doing. Thanks so much!
