fingers still swollen after jamming it in football

Hello,

I jammed my fingers (left ring and left middle) in March playing football. I got them X-rayed right away and there were no breaks found. Now its July and they are still swollen, and the middle finger is still a little crooked (from being swollen).

It might be because I type every day and they don't get a chance to heal. Any ideas on how I can get them back down to normal?

A sports medicine doctor also tested the tendons and found no tears. I have plenty of grip strength and they don't really hurt except they are noticeably swollen.
