elbow pain
hi physios....
please help....
15 year old tennis player came with the complaint of right index and thumb pain, she had a history of fall on her right hand during the match and continued to play the game... she was unable to play til the end of the match because of the pain, she has swelling over the brachioradialis muscle, she has pain in holding things, she is unable to write since she goes to school, she has stopped going to tennis, she came to me after a week of the injury
Therapy that i did for her was-
trigger release over supraspinatus, infraspinatus (since i always find reffered pain of these muscles in elbow) biceps, triceps, common extensors and flexors. After 3 sessions the pain in the thumb and index has gone but pain while writing is still a complaint... and she is having pain over the elbow and swelling is there after 5 sessions, i have tried taping and ift
plz help what else can i do :(

how did she land? how old is the injury now?

well its been 3 weeks since the injury happened and she fell with her elbow bent on her right hand( actually she was abt to hit the ball but her leg slipped since it was a wet clay it had rained that day she fell on her hand, she couldnt exactly figure out the fall)

The triceps bond is the one at the aback of the high arm - as apparent opposite. It inserts into the aback of the elbow. If you abatement assimilate your easily you can breach this tendon. If you over-do the weights or try to advance something too abundant you can aswell breach the bond or it could become affronted through over use.

well.. thank u so much... now the girl is feeling better with taping i have continued and she is in rest for few days... i have even found triggers in supinator going to release that muscle also...
