Hello i fractured my 5th metatarsal in the shaft area near the middle. I was casted for 6 weeks and the doctor said i was allowed to bear weight on it and walk. It has been about a week and i have tried walking but there is some pain in my heel when i do aswell as swelling after. Is this normal and should i continue to walk(i plan on going out to watch a movie very soon)? Also are there any exercises to help my walking? Thanks to anyone who helps!!
