and only saturated fats? None of the others..? I thought trans fats are also bad and can contribute to CAD

Sorry, read that on my phone and didn't realise they wanted a group.
Saturated fats are solid at room temperature - so more occlusive and likely to build up.
Saturated fats cause an increase in Low-density lipoproteins from the liver which leads to atherosclerosis.
Sat fats are the biggest cause.
Trans fats are types of unsaturated. And also do cause atherosclerosis.
Polyunsaturated fats have also been shown to cause atherosclerosis.
