isolation
I recently moved from an acute inpatients job into the community(different hospital) and now work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team. Whilst I really enjoy the work I feel quite isolated from other physios. Does anyone else feel this way, has anyone managed to solve this problem?

re: isolation
It is possible to feel isolated when working in a small team especially if you are the only physio. I have found that special interest groups are a valuable source of support and information as you are in touch with other physios with similar work situations.

re: isolation
I agree with keeping in touch with special interest groups. Also, see if you can tap into physio inservice programs run by local hospitals - so that you can keep abreast of current information and have the opportunity to mix with other physio's.
