shallow intertubercular groove and persistent long head of biceps subluxation.

I've got a 68 yr old gent with persistent subluxation of his long head of biceps. Have worked on correcting his pretty poor scap control, in particular subscap control as his humeral head was tending to sit slightly anterior to his glenoid but he remains complaining if intermittent dull ache and tenderness over LHB. Ultrasound doesn't seem to be helping. His GP says his intertubercular groove is shallow.
Is this something he is just going to have to live with or does anyone have any better ideas?

what is his serratus anterior and lower trap control like? if they are functioning inefficiently maybe he is working too hard with his biceps to flex the shoulder
