Shoulder Subluxation

5 months ago I was playing a football match and my shoulder went out and in twice, basically the reflex muscles popped it back in. Built muscle around it during pre-season and it has felt fine, until y'day it went back it went out and in twice in the space of 5 minutes this happened when my arm got stretched backwards. It is stiff now and I am to go to the Doctor tomorrow. Just wondering how long I would be out if I was to get surgery?, and if I was to avoid surgery would it keep occuring??

Anyone hear of something similar? It doesn't feel too bad now but when it happens its very painful. Theres loads of info on website but id just like to hear a few similar experiences! Thanks
