Re: in service
I would suggest you pick something in the area that you are currently working in. Then go to your head in that areas as a mentor and ask them what they think would be good to present based on something that is of interest to the department and them as the head of that section. You might then get them to mentor you through what you are working on.

Re: in service
Lets start by finding out where you work in the hospital? what kind of patients are you seeing? without knowing this we cannot help you think interesting treatments you can use as a case study.

Re: in service
Paediatric's is great great fun, I bet you could have a really interactive inservice. I find that play therpay is one of the most important parts of paeds... Did you get to experience this?

Re: in service
Hi,
I think your focus is all wrong.
Do you HAVE to present an interesting case (in paediatric or neuro... isn't everyone interesting?)? Do you HAVE to present/ research an aspect that you know nothing about?
Why do you not look into something that you are good at?
Why not research something that you enjoy doing?
Why not research e.g. outcome measures that you are using and reflect on whether they are worthwhile doing?
Just some thoughts.

Re: in service
well i tried to search about the viscerosomatic reflexes but i found it difficult .. i didn`t understand the topic very well but i think it is very interseting ,,
sure am not gonna talk about something that i`m not interesting in .. but the problem is t feel like i`m under pressure and i can`t come up with anything :s

Re: in service
... but that's exactly what I mean.
If there is something you are interested in and you know NOTHING about, it will take considerable time to learn AND understand the topic. Then you will have to put it into practice numerous times and reflect on your experiences. And probably do further research to clarify new questions that came up. Only after that will you be able to deliver an excellent presentation. This will take time .....
If you are under pressure time-wise (which I presume you will be by now), then present on something that you know a lot about and do some research to fine tune.
