Psychology of Sports Injury

ATTENTION ALL UK SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPISTS AND SPORTS THERAPISTS:

Do you think an understanding of sport psychology is important in your profession? Do you use sport psychology techniques in your work with injured athletes? Have you ever referred an injured athlete to a sport psychologist?

These are all questions I am hoping to answer through a research project I am currently working on examining physiotherapists and sports therapists thoughts about sport psychology during injury rehabilitation.

This research is part of my PhD studies at The Open University and has been ethically approved by an Open University Ethics Committee. To maintain your confidentially the questionnaire is anonymous - you are not required to give your name or any information that might reveal your identity. You can however, request to have a copy of the research findings sent to you if you are interested in the topic area.
