As a physio student I'm getting a bit confused with lesion level classification; if the patient has been classified as a complete c3-c4, and thus a transection of the SC between the levels of c3 and c4, would they be classified as a c3 quad or a c4 quad?
Spinal nerve c4 would be affected, so the patients last functional level would presumably be c3; do you classify by the last functional level and thus a c3 quad?
