spastic arm quastion
hello, Im a student in the BGU university of israel.
im in amidlle of a project that is about a robotic device that connects to the whole arm allowing the arm to fold and unfold as desired....(via remote controll).
this devise not only sapose to give a comfortable angle to the arm, but also to allow some rehabilitation proccess by continues folding and unfolding the arm. (the device workes on batterys light and easy to carry wherever...)
1)what do you think of it? will it be heandy?
2)for the physiotherapists: are there enought of such hight tonuse patiants that have this kind of spastisity(folded arm)?
3) is it takes a great force to unfold the arm in order to put on/operate the device? if you can check that out for me I will be bery thankfull(how much weight is it takes approximately to unfold the arm?)!
4)if you help me i promiss to show pics and progress here on this forum.
thank you all very much!

Re: spastic arm quastion
Dear Urish,
I think it is a good idea to get in contact with a rehabilitation centre near your institution/uni. You need feedback on the spot.
We are very interested, that is not the point, but this is not something you cannot do on the internet.
You need life subjects and health professionals to steer you in the right direction by the sounds of it.
