Hi there,
I have done physiotherapy from bangalore, India. presently, Iam residing in UK from the last 4 years and have completed masters in cardiovascular rehabilitation from Uk university. I want to know about working as physiotherapist in Canada. Can i apply for physio jobs directly from Uk and do i need to take any exam in order to work in Canada.

Hi sumeetisher, i hope its not too late for this reply. You do need to go through the processing with the Alliance since you're an international student, after they assess your credentials they will require you to take some courses, mostly online. after you successfully finished the courses then you will be qualified to write the written exam which is the first exam out of the two, then when you passed the written you will then be qualified to apply for practical exam. As for application, I do believe that that you should be here in Canada to do so. Goodluck!

Hi there. I was wondering if you could help, I'm a newly qualified physiotherapist, graduated in the UK in July 2010.
I'm currently working in the UK as a band 5 rotational physiotherapist but I am keen on moving to Canada to work as a physiotherapist.
Im looking at the alliance website, so if i print off all the forms and send them, what happens next? do i need to look for an exam myself? and should I look for a job first?
I would appreciate any guidance you could offer.
