Traction in stenosis cases?

I think you need to be more specific about your question. If you ask vague questions you will find thoughtful therapists find it too hard to answer or you will get inane answers from people who don't know any better.

Stenosis is actually more of an anatomical description and it really just means narrowing of the spinal canal or spinal nn foramen(s). So treatment is going to vary according to the type of stenosis and the region in which the narrowing occurs. And of course having stenosis may not be the cause od the problem or it may just be a contributing factor

so.. Are you asking about degenerative lumbar stenosis (the most commonly seen type of stenosis seen in pt) if so are you asking about whther traction is safe or traction is effective - or both? And what about relating it to WHY you are asking the question ie a clinical case you are seeing.

All this could facilitate discussion.
