PEDro turns out to be a top database for clinical trials

I know PEDro, the database devoted to evidence for physiotherapy, can be a bit clunky when using search terms. But it turns out to be one of the most comprehensive for physio clinical trials, even out performing other commonly used ones like pubmed and embase.

In fact we are really fortunate to have such a gem of reference tool and it remains absolutely free. If you haven't used it note that it has a user friendly alternative site for patients to use

It would be great if it provided access to more full text articles but given the publishing costs charged by journal publishers that won't be happenong in the near future.

If you haven't used PEDro much or when you have you find you get very few responses: I have found the best way is to just usethe simple search and try to keep it to one word or two words at the very most.
