working in South Africa

Aangezien je Nederlands bent doe ik dit maar in het Nederlands. Ik heb deze website net gevonden en kwam jouw vraag tegen. Ik ben benieuwd of je inmiddels wat gevonden hebt??. Ik ga eind dit jaar ook richting Zuid-Afrika en ook zoekende naar een baan als fysio. Ik weet wel dat het niet makkelijk is. Je moet een examen afleggen voordat je daar aan de slag mag. Dat examen wordt 2 keer per jaar gegeven. Als je het haalt dan wordt je geregistreerd bij The counsel of Health (lijkt op de BIG registratie) en pas dan mag je daar als physio aan de slag. Ik ben benieuwd naar wat jij hebt gevonden en misschien ben je daar al inmiddels. Lijkt me leuk om van je te horen.

hi thomas I am a south african graduate living in Italy. In order to work in South Africa you should contact the University of the Witwatersrand & speak to Professor Cecilia Eales. She will be able to give you all the information you are looking for. As far as I know international students are required to write exams, but check with Prof Eales, cause they may have changed the rules. Good luck & let me know if you need any other information.
