Private Insurance providers for younger physios?
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any insurers who would look at physios with <5 years experience. Just started out for myself a short while ago and adding another dimension of people I can treat would be great. Also any good suggestions to get subtle recommendations from local GPs if NHS waiting lists are exceptionally high? Is it very unethical to ask them to do this?
Thanks for any help even if the answers are all bad news lol.

Re: Private Insurance providers for younger physios?
I think most do except BUPA and PPP. Of course BUPA permit less than 5 yrs now so long as the practice has made a deal with them. Simply Health, Standard Life, WPA, Pru health etc etc should all cover any registered physiotherapist. We all know they ALL should cover everyone as who are they to assess the clinic competance of a physiotherapist who has been deemed fit to practice on the UK public by the registration board. Unfortunately the poor leadership of the CSP and Physio First has lead to us all working with a professionally weakened position. But that's another story.
