Neck pain is common among computer users. Various studies evaluating the effect of different screen heights on the mechanical loading of neck and visual stress has been done. The cervical spine is remarkabe in its ability to provide optimal position of the head for the key sense organs of vision and hearing through a wide array of head and neck movement. Viewing a computer involves interaction between 2 systems; vision and posture. The head and neck comprise a complex neuromuscular system which when combined with the complexity of visual system, has contributed to controversy regarding the appropriate location of computer monitor. The complexity of the decision about the optimal location of a visual target for close range work requires consideration of both visual and biomechanical factors since contradictory recommendations may arise when the 2 systems are considered independently. So, there is a need to clarify these controversies and find out the appropriate screen heights that will be comfortable to head and neck posture and vision. It could be done by measuring craniovertebral, craniohorizontal, and gaze angles.Lowering the monitor height increases the range of comfortable head and neck posture and vision.Physiotherapist's role is to offer suggestions to clients regarding their workstation design and postural habits.
Hope this may help

Hi,
I think you have posted this in the wrong sub-category.
May I suggest you send a new post under the "muskuloskeletal/ outpatients" heading and tell us exactly what your research question or hypothesis is.
It's not my area, but looking at your post, I have some keywords for a literature search; try "vocational assessment" or "work station assessment".

For research purposes on a particular topic u have to go through the related relevant articles and journals.
