Rehabilitation assistant to train in a BSc ?

Dear all,

I have found it very difficult to secure a post as a physiotherapy assistant as lacking care experience hinders me greatly. I am however in the process of *hopefully* getting a job as a rehabilitation assistant. my question is this, is it possible to train part time as a physio at uni. this is what i want to do but because of finance i cant do it full time. will a uni let me/what else will i need in terms of academic credentials? also, has anyone else had the problem in terms of high volumes of jobs getting filled very quickly with a matter of days.
