Acupuncture and hormones.

I have been using Acup. for 2 years now. So far there have been three women who have responded well to acup. except in the week running up to their period, when they have each had an exacerbation. Overall their treatment has been sucessful, but I wondered if anyone else had met the same phenomena. If so do you have any suggestions as to how to manage it, apart from avoiding treatment at that time?

what are you using acupuncture for? Pain relief?? If you check up on the principles and theory on TCM and its system of diagnosing a condition, it might give you an idea or a lead for further research.
