Long Delay with Canadian Credential Evaluation
Hi,
Is anyone else currently waiting on the Canadian Alliance credentialing process? My Application had been pending with the Alliance since November 2010. In February 2011, they sent me confirmation that they have all the documents they require to start the evaluation. I have been waiting to get a response from then. At the moment, they've stopped answering phone calls and they no longer respond to email. I fear they may be having difficulties getting verification response from my college. As I am not currently back in my home country, there's no way to confirm this. I am envisaging some minor deficiency which might require PLAR. If it is taking 10 months and counting already for the initial evaluation, I just wonder how much longer the latter stage will be. Is there anyone here who ha completed the review with ideas on what t do?

Wondering if you heard anything yet. I sent my app in Oct 2010 and heard back in june 2011 that it was fine to go. Its just sitting on the website as "we have recieved and accepted the documents we needed to begin your application. We sent you an update."

No, not yet. I have the same status as you. This is become a bit of a drag at this stage. It would have been nice to speak to someone who might give an idea as to why exactly is the hold up:(

The black out on communication with applicants is not helping either. Anyone else out there in this situation?
