trigger points in both arms
Hi all
Thanks in advance for reading this post.
I have been using the armaid.com device on my lower arms and have found really enlarged trigger points in the common places, for example below elbow etc.
My question is does everyone have these tight knots of muscle tendons or whatever? If they don't, it seems to me like it might be worth continuing to focus on the armaid to 'flush' out these trigger points to try and make them smaller?
many thanks
Re: trigger points in both arms
Hello Pistachio,
People who use their hands a lot (computer users, bakers, florists, hair dressers, etc) can tend to have many many trigger points in their arms. That looks to be a quite nifty device for releasing them. As well, there are other alternatives from a ball on the wall to simple massage on the points with your knuckles. To get an idea of the anatomy and such, a great book on the topic is Clair Davies Trigger Point Therapy Workbook.
