I would say that depends on the cause, the age of the child etc. Can you provide more information and perhaps if you can post a photo of the childs legs then we may be better able to comment.

There are a number of reasons for genu varum at this age.
I agree with Physiobob that a picture would be helpful.
Can you tell us anything about the ROM in his knees?
It is important to know what the cause is. He might need medical help or need to be referred to a specialist.
Do you have any idea of the underlying disorder?
Is he having functional problems that you can treat?
What is the reason for him coming to you?
What are the parents asking of you?
Answers to these questions will help you decide whether or not you can be of assistance.
