Conductive Education for Children with Cerebral Palsy
Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone has any up to date reviews and studies for Conductive Education for children with Cerebral Palsy? They physiotherapists in my area are being asked their views on this method as the health service is receiving requests to support the therapy and improve access to it for parents in Ireland where access at the moment is almost non-existant. Does anyone have any views or useful links on the issue?
Thanks.

Hi Rileytwoson,
I suggest you check the following site.
Conductive Education
Peto's ideas, or the CE therapy cannot be caried out by physiotherapists alone. It is not a therapy.
The site will give you a good impression of the background and practical implications.
For the physio's:
The AACPDM's published an extensive evidence report by Joanna Darrah and others regarding this method.

Esther,
I was in Peto as a young child so I found the general information fairly easily but that evidence report wil be great.
Thanks,
Riley
